The view from Indian Mounds Regional Park on March 27 showed the Mississippi River making it’s way up the earthen levies at Holman Field at the St. Paul Downtown Airport. The river was at about 18.5 feet that day, according to the National Weather Service, with it estimated to crest above 20 feet around April 1. The record high for the river in St. Paul is 26 feet, which happened in April 1965.
