Shoreview has accepted a bid for reconstruction of North Owasso Boulevard and its utility lines, moving the city one step closer to its largest road reconstruction project to date. Central Park Elementary kindergartners sang “Thank You” to sixth graders — the future class of 2025 — who completed their elementary experience and will move on to Roseville Area Middle School next fall.
Irondale High School’s KnightKrawler robotics team took third place at the state tournament, hosted by the Minnesota State High School League, on May 18.
Mounds View High School won the state champion title in the Adam Smith, or advanced placement, division of the statewide Economics Challenge on April 3 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

Julianne Thomas from St. Odilia School in Shoreview won the second annual Big Bang Catholic STEM Fair in the sixth-though-eighth-grade category, according to a news release.
In Shoreview, the ballot this November will have five candidates running for two council seats while the incumbent mayor is effectively running unopposed.
As a precaution in response to an individual fleeing from deputies in the Shoreview area, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office put Island Lake Elementary and St. Odelia School on lockdown the morning of Oct. 4.
