South St. Paul man pleads guilty

A Dakota County man has pled guilty to one count of terroristic threats.

Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Harrison William Rund, age 21, of South St. Paul pled guilty to the felony count on Dec. 9.

Rund had made multiple threats to kill St. Paul police officers and a State Trooper through Twitter posts made after he received a speeding ticket issued by a Minnesota State Trooper on Feb. 4, 2014.

Earlier reports said he sent tweets like "im getting so pissed out here literally thinkin about just startin to hunt and kill cops" among others.

He was charged back in Feburary 2014.

Judge Timothy McManus set the sentencing date for Jan. 20, 2016, at 9 a.m. in Hastings.
